Act immediately if there is
- intent to self-harm
- intent to harm others
- a weapon in an active crisis
- an overdose or medical emergency
- severe confusion or psychosis
Do not wait for a regular appointment if there is
- loss of control
- escalating violence
- inability to stay safe
- rapidly worsening mental state
